Synopsis


Three old men who formed a group of traditional music player and puppeteers over 20 years ago are planning perform for the last time in Bahman’s hometown – Birjand.

The three old men drive an old station wagon, which they bought 40 years ago and hasn’t been driven for many years. They take the same route they took coming from Birjand to Tehran. They perform several puppet shows for children along the route to earn money for the travel expenses. After a few days they reach Birjand.

Before the show, Esfandiar confesses to Bahman that he has been in love with his sister for many years. Bahman is looking for a proper time to bring them together. Rabe’eh comes to watch the show and after the show she waits for Esfandiar, but Esfandiar…
